Will a LS2 intake work on a LS1 block?

Will a LS2 intake work on a LS1 block? Has anyone tried this? I know the LS6 intake flows better than the LS2, but since I got a great deal on the manifold I though I might try it out.

Yes it will work, but there's some work you have to do first...I heard without descent cam & heads you will lose power FWIW

I have the LS2 fuel rails. I'm installing a pretty large cam. 598/.605 lift, 235 Dur, 214 seperation. I can fix the flow.
