Default Will a LS2 intake work on a LS1 block?

Has anyone tried this? I know the LS6 intake flows better than the LS2, but since I got a great deal on the manifold I though I might try it out.
Thanks,
Dan

Yes it will work, but there's some work you have to do first...I heard without descent cam & heads you will lose power FWIW

It will work but the stock LS1 fuel rail wont fit on it. Get an LS6 instead.

I have the LS2 fuel rails. I'm installing a pretty large cam. 598/.605 lift, 235 Dur, 214 seperation. I can fix the flow.
Thanks for your help
Dan

before you put it on search for someone that can port it for you. It is worth the extra money.

I heard from a reputable source that porting a ls2 intake doesn't yeild any real gains.
