LS1 TA - Taking off fender vents
How do you take them off? I don't want to ruin or scratch any paint in the process. Are they held in by screws? Should I just grab it with some pliers and pull? I'm going to trace them on some mesh grill and cover them.

if this is the vents near the front wheels -
open the door. stick your hand in there behind them and squeeze the side clips that hold them in place. they should pop out real easy.

This is the best way without breaking off the plastic tabs that hold it.

yup, I've done it like this a lot of times and never had a problem with scratches or damage to the vent piece
