Default driveability on weld draglites

Im looking to put some draglites on fronts and rears, 15x3.5 up front, and 15x8.5 i believe out back....was wondering how this setup fairs as far as driveability on highway, normal driving conditions, to and from work, etc..i know i have to grind my calipers, but wanna know what you guys that have them think? the fronts will the skinnies so im thinking it may be a a bit squirly up front?any insite is appreciated

i have gone 160 mph on the street with the following combo:

15X3.5 wheel, MT Sportsman 8ply
15X10 wheel, MT 325 DR

I dislike driving through residential neighborhoods because of all the turns and hitting potholes will pull the car hard to either side. Highway driving is ok , just no sudden lane changes. You pretty much have to drive like a granny and take it easy. I think it made me actually drive a LOT safer. I never sped through traffic or anything.

Use a little common sense when taking turns/curves and you'll be ok. Braking isn't as good either with the skinnies up front.

put the draglites on and must say, so much lighter, and you can actually feel it in the car. and to top it off, no driveability issues what soever, except of course that i do have to watch the potholes, etc. I LOVE THEM!, Much better look than your typical vette wheel or what not...Not knocking them, had some c5 z06 wheels on before this so no bad words about them, but car looks more aggressive now, and hopefully Ill see an e.t drop as well! woot@!!!

What size wheels did you end up going with in front and back? What tire did you go with in the back? Did you go through the whole caliper grinding routine to get them to fit? I am researching 15" rims and slicks as much as I can to find out the best route to get my car to hook up.

the fronts are 15x3.5 not sure the tire size, but theyre skinnies..the rears are 15.8.5 and i know i have a 10.5 inch tire in the back...had to grind the fronts alot! the rears not bad at all. maybe about 10 minutes each with spacers though...

15" Welds will require a good bit of grinding, you can use longer studs and 5/16" spacers on the front and not have to grind. The rears will require grinding regardless. Bogarts are the way to go if you can afford them. Centerline Warrior and Convo Pros fit without grinding but don't have the perfect backspacing. The ideal sizes are 15x8 with 5.5" backspacing, 15x10 with 7.5".
