Picking up the new truck on Friday

Picking up the new truck on Friday Only two days left till I fly down to pick up my new 04 Silverado SS.
Arriving in Long Beach at 9:30 PM on Friday, picking up the truck and getting a few hours of sleep at my mom's house.
Saturday I drive to Bakersfield and pick up a buddy, then start the long haul back home. We have to make it back by 6PM on Sunday so my buddy can catch his flight home.
Short road trip, but it should be fun. Wish me luck.

Grats, I like the way those trucks look ! Post some pics when you get that bad boy back home and I will say a small prayer for you about the snow...

Well, if all else fails... It's AWD so it'll be fine in the snow, I know from personal experience. lol Even though it sucks to drive it through dirty slushy mountain passes.

Well I made it down here OK. I head out bright and early tomorrow to pick up my buddy in Bakersfield, then start the long drive back. Looks like the weather will be fine all the way up. Of course I'll hit rain as soon as I cross into WA.
This truck is bad ***. Definitely needs exhaust and a tune, maybe some sway bars and heads and cam...
