Default Oil Change light and Diablo Tuner

I bought my 1999 trans am about 3 months ago, and the oil had just been changed. About 2 weeks ago I changed the oil right after the "Change Oil" light came on.

I have a Diablo tuner, but I'm not sure how to use it. I've never hooked it up and never really played with it, it came with the car. I tried to search on this subject but without much luck. How do I get the "Change Oil" light to go off? Thanks in advance for the help.

You should check out the owners manual...there's some useful info in there:

"After changing the engine oil, the system must be reset. With the ignition key in RUN with the engine turned off, push the TRIP/OIL RESET button located on the instrument panel for 12 seconds. The OIL CHANGE light will start to flash to confirm that the system is reset. The reset is complete when the OIL CHANGE light goes out."

GM has them online if the previous owner lost it.
