Unhappy Want an LS1 but have a GT right now!

Well, I'm sorry to say that I don't actually have an LS1 or an LT1 right now, I drive an '02 mustang GT. BUT my purpose for being here is to learn more about LS1's (I already know some) and to buy one on here as well. I'm not new to camaro's entirely...I had an LT1 (V6) and my bro. had a LT1 z28 and an LS1 z28 w/H/C. I know how deadly fast they can be and I want to have one for myself now...I've had enough of the mustangs for now and will be putting mine up for sale very soon if anyone's interested. Anyway, just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself (my name is Matt by the way and I'm from the Outer Banks of NC, currently residing in Richmond, va). That's all for me...look forward to meeting everyone!

You can usually find some good decent f-bodies on autotrader from dealerships, maybe you can trade in ur GT for an LS1. Also check out the car sale section.

um...LT1's weren't V6's, but just a small misnomer.

I'll be in the Richmond area next week, so PM me and we can talk f-bodies and find you a LS1

sounds good but I have 2 GTs and I want to sell one outright and then I'll consider trading the other in on an LS1. My bro left for Cali. and left me w/his to continue the payments but I just don't want to pay it anymore and he can't pay it b/c most of his money goes to rent and his girl. Anyway, maybe we can meet up sometime once I get my LS1 and maybe start a club or go to dinwiddie and quarter mile it up!

Always good to meet new members from Va. Glad to see you realized that LS1>mustangs. I live in chesterfield and am a member of RPM car club. All LS1 cars camaros, trans ams, and corvettes. Send me a PM if you want to come out some time. We have weekly gatherings and will be going to Dinwiddie next weekend.

Once you get an LS1 you won't even remember your GT!!

Like the above said, just be patient and look everywhere you can. Good Luck!

Mustangs aren't too bad for cruisers, but they need a LOT of investment to come close to an LS1. I know, I have one of each. '98 Formula and a '98 GT. You will LOVE an LS1 when you find one. They are bad *** rides.

the 3.8ls that came in some of the 95s and all the 96-97s can get pretty fast. Like Lt1 fast.
