Default What to do... Done right.

Hey guys my friend recently asked me if i would be intrested in a trade for his blue m6 98 z28. It has a SS hood, cam, full bolt ons, 4'10s beefed up rear end, suspension, an custom tune. The bad thing is it needs alot of work, the front bumper will need to be replaced an some bodywork to the rear 1/4 panel. It will need a tune up, starter an rebuilt tranny. The interior only has one seat which is the passenger installed in the driver side, no speakers our radio and the stearing wheel broke in half. Im sure there might be other problems with it that I am not aware of. My truck on the other hand is in great shape. Its a white 99 GMC Sierra reg cab short bed v6 m5 2wd. The truck has 2 new buckets hyperteched, K&N, an tb spacer. Also on the truck is a Fabtech 6 in suspension lift an 3 in body lift with 35's BF Goodritch mt an a new black tool box. Just wanna now what you guys think.

Doesn't sound like a good trade at all. I bet the lift alone you paid is half of what the value of the car is.

Heck naw.....get him to atleast give you a few grand cash and have him get the tranny rebuilt and a new starter to make sure everything runs fine. Also have it inspected by a mechanic to make sure since a rebuilt tranny can be a good sign.

well put it up for sell to test the waters to see how much you can get for it...

start looking around for f-bodies as well. from there you will be able to see what you can see what is affordable or out of your price range.
