Default TR230 and 3.23 gears?
Looking to install a TR230 in my car but I have a question about drivability. Since I did the 6 speed swap I still have the 3.23 gears from when I had the automatic. What kind of problems might I have after installing this cam? The car has full bolt on's too.

You'll get better performance with a better gear but it will work. I ran my tr230 for a while with my A4 and 2.73's.

With a good tune, it'll be drivable, but you'll really enjoy it when you get to add a set of gears.

Will the car surge alot at lower speeds or even in like 6th gear? I'm sure alot of it can be taken care of with tuning but still.

With a tune and 3.23 gears it's going to want to surge some at low speed.
