i have the non hurst shifter. im gonna buy the short stick in a day or so, and want to know which one to get, but if one or the other will hit the center console.

I don't know which one I have, but it rocks. Don't know what a short stick will feel like on a non-hurst, but I hope you don't hit the console. Never had that prob, but I have hurst all the way.

well later on im gonna get a used hurst.. but for now i dont need my odd shaped erection with a ****.

i dont think half an inch will make a difference in hitting the console or not.

i dont want anything too short, as to the whole stick is covered by the boot.

i have the 6in with the non hurst, it hits the console. im waiting on my factory hurst to come in. im dealing with it for now. id say it will be totally different for you because you have a 94, the console is different.

damn, i didnt notice the huge difference in color between my **** and my boot. i guess the flash bulb really brings it out. and yes, my **** is dirty, no bitching, its 1:45 AM.

stock hurst with 6 inch ws6 short handle and hurst shift ball. keep in mind that u could adjust the height on the shiftball. in this picture its been raised at least 5 threads from its lowest point. I also have plenty of clearence between the handle and the console

i have that stock 8 ball ****, so i dont think that will hit. ive noticed my shifter angles towards the drivers side is that normal?

right now im sold on the 6"..

it wont angle as much when you get the short stick on. . its not your **** that will hit, well it will but your stick will hit too. if i still had my cue ball hurst **** it wouldnt hit because it dont have the tail on it like my leather hurst ****, but the stick still would. the only reason i think it hits is because of the lack of the hurst shifter. thats why i think some people's hit and others dont, its because some have the hurst and some dont and think they do.

my boot is different too, it doesnt roll up then down which takes up 1/8" more than mine like your guy's. and i think the overall space is bigger (longer) than the 4.5gen console.

yea, like an inch shorter.

ill just get the 6" stick and put it on.

if it does hit, will it really affect anything? i know it hits on 2nd and 4th and 6th, but what about 1-R?

no if you look at my pictures, its a good 1-2 inches from the console. it really hasent bothered me any, just rattles my change in my ash tray a little when i hit 2nd hard, doesnt stop it from going into gear.
