brake light issue (I have searched)
this is on a 94 firebird
this is also posted in general maintenance but i feel that since it is a firebird only issue (my specific issue) that i could post it in here
i have an issue with my brake lights that is different than the ones that came up on search.
my issue is that when the brakes are hit the center-most brake lights go dead and the outer-most brake lights light up/get brighter.
all the tail lights work when just the running lights are on.
I have tried swapping bulbs between the two lights and I am using 2057 bulbs
all symptoms stay the same when bulbs are swapped.
the ones with the ^ under them are the ones that die
o O O R R O O o
--- ^----^
R= reverse lights
O= brake lights
o= outermost running lights
