408 are a great setup they are pretty cheaper for a stroker they are a proven performer and guys have been running them long enough now that there are mild to wild setups that you can look up here on tech to narrow down the setup you would like to go with. We build a lot of 408 but within the last year have seen a shift towards LS2 402's and now more and more larger cubic inch setups like 427-454's.

I personally went with an ls2 402, and have ben very happy with it. Times in my sig are shakedown runs of a motor built for a 400 hit of juice... on motor.

That being said, it's got probably another 3 tenth's in the car itself without touching the tune or anything... and once the bottle gets fed to it, I'm sure the 6 pt I just put in will be nowhere near enough

Power everywhere all the time, that's the easiest way to describe it.

408 all the way! Love mine! I went with a iron block because of the spray. Not the cost. Time has proven a iron block is a safe way to go. If I would have stayed N/A I would have went 402. But I couldn`t!! I have to spray!!! It`s in me to be this way!!

Give SDPC a call. They can beat ANY price on the net and the customer service is better than anywhere else. Give them a call and ask for Bryan or Matt. Their website is www.sdpc2000.com, but call them and they can give you better pricing.
