Yea looks like a good deal to me also, except for the fact that it says 5 Speed Manual, and there are no interior pics.

sounds like its been in a pretty bad wreck to me. With a salvage title, and the fact that the body parts(bumper) are not correct, makes it pretty clear-the car was wrecked. If it was me...i would definetly pass.

also has a firebird/formula front bumper
It says it's a formula WSR whatever the hell that is.

It might have been in a wreck and have a salvage title but if it was fixed by a body shop and not the guy himself then it should be perfectly fine... as long as there is nothing wrong with the frame. Salvage titled cars sell for pennies. Try e-mailing him and asking for more pics and all the information from the body shop.

Looks like a T/A because it has high wing and says trans am on the black separator on the back, so obviously it is not a formy, and the front bumper was completely replaced. Must have been front end accident.
If it was not salvage, I would sell my LT1 right now to pick that up.

yay trans am
IMPORTANT! The 19 records on this 2002 PONTIAC FIREBIRD FORMULA/TRANS AM may confirm a clean title history or uncover potential problems. Find out by ordering the complete CARFAX Vehicle History Report.
That should make you leary to start with. :eek2:

First of all, i don't care if it's salvage or not, don't care if they ripped the front end off. Buy the durn thing after some interior and under hood pics if it's even a trans am, then you got a ws6 hood, rims, cool looking formula front bumper already painted to make it unique, and a cheap fast ride. Wear it out, i'd call immediately and ask lots of uestions though, then get some moo-lah together.

when i ran into something like that a year ago, i called the person up and they said i would pay that much up front and then take over the payments. Screw that!

Call about it to make sure it's legit and ask about it's history like accidents and make sure to ask about the Formula bumper. Then go check it out from top to bottom, take it for a test drive around town and on the highway to make sure there's no abnormal problems and then go from there.

Hey aren't the Trans Ams on the doors suppose to be below the body moldings?
Get a full Car fax report!
With 19 issues associated with that car, it could be a minor fender bender, or it could have been a drug runner vehical. Who knows without looking at it.
Instead of looking at pics, take a trip over there if you're really serious about it and test drive it. Ya it looks nice in that pic but there's no assurence that the frame isn't twisted, its stollen or any other number of things...
I wouldn't buy it just becasue of the hood facia and a few other painted parts. lol

lol, if only cars could talk......check for glue holdin it together :jest:
it was a total loss vehicle.. front impact on the right side and airbag deployment. so if you go to look at it check for frame damage and such

Definitely a wrecked and repaired car. The front end gives that away. And yeah, the doors have been redone because the T/A scripts ARE in the wrong spot. I'd stay far away from that car.

"LOADED and has a spoiler." LOL. WSR...um...sure.
I don't know if it's a scam, usually the cars.com scams don't have phone numbers, but it is a dealer so maybe the "advertised price" isn't the real-deal price. If it's close by, give it a call or go see it. Run a carfax otherwise. You never know but still, something does sound way off. As far as the price, I don't think thats your proof its a scam. There are good deal out there but what ruins this one for me is that this is a dealer. I can't see the pics too well b/c of sizing but it probably was a wreck like people are saying.

I agree with all these guys. i noticed is that ram air screen on hood is wrong one from factory. so maybe not even a ws6. something else to look at.
if we see all this wrong on this "car" from just entranet view then I wouldn't waste my time on it.
