Oil pressue and spun bearing?

Oil pressue and spun bearing? How big of an oil pressure loss would indicate a spun bearing? There was some metal on oil plug but nothing to worry about I didn't think. I noticed a loss of about 8-10 psi in oil pressure on the guage on the way home last night. Just trying to catch it before things really get bad. Thanks.

so what oil pressure are you seeing now. Usually when people have a spun bearing they see really low numbers for oil pressure. Mine will fluxuate 8-10 depending if im on throttle or not.

Mine never made an unusual sounds or anything, just a complete drop in oil pressure. That was the only sign other then a tremendous amount of metal in the oil.

Mobil1 synthetic. you think yours is any cleaner after 80k miles? i dont.
