Default Torque question (rookie)

Just so I don't screw up again, the manual calls for 132 in lbs of torque for the intake manifold. 132/12= 11 ft lbs, yes? (rant-why don't they just say it in foot pounds instead of inches )

Yes, 11 ft-lbs. They say inch lbs because people have 1/4" drive TQ wrenches and such that measure in in-lbs.

I just put mine on hand tight with a 1/4" drive ratchet, and make a few passes over each, never really had a problem. I do this because I don't trust my big *** TQ wrench to read that low, and I'm too broke to buy a smaller one.

Got it. So that's why, and why my torque wrench doesn't go that low. Thanks Blur!!!
