weird noise when in drive and stopped
i have a 2002 b4c camaro with 107,000 miles on it. when the car is in drive and completly stopped with my foot on the brake the car starts to shake. the rpms are at about 600. i slightly tap the gas so the rpms go to about 800 and the shaking stops for a secound and then starts agian when the car is moving it dosent do it. its not a big deal but i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and also if anyone new why this is happining. thank you

noise? or just shaking? could be many things. broken tranny mount.. exhuast shaking and hitting someplace.. even a cracked flexplate. Does it make any noise when you are first starting it.. like only when the starter is engaged?

if it's a really hard shake, do what a previous poster stated and check all the mounts on the engine/tranny. my friend's old mercedes had cracked engine mounts and it shook that beast pretty hard at stops and @45mph.
