Default magnaflow y vs flowmaster y

I'm thinking about going with a custom y pipe, and was interested in people's opinions of the mangaflow y 3"-3" merge collector vs. the flowmaster 3"-3.5". Also, since Flowmaster apparently doesn't make a 3"-3", is the best option the 3"-3.5" or should I be looking at different sizing?

I'm on a budget, and can get the Magnaflow from thunder http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&vid=3&pcid=54 for about $37 shipped and the flowmaster would cost around $60, and would also need a 3.5"-3" reducer (another ~$20).

I'm not sure if I'm going to be happy without cats either, so I may want to add some in the future, but right now plan on installing Pacesetter LTs, Magnaflow muffler swap, and either the Pacesetter ORY or a custom one.

You probably want a 3"-3" it will help with exhaust velocity.
