What size rim for et streets?

What size rim for et streets? I was looking at the 26 x 11.5 x 17 et streets for my car for weekend fun. Will these be too wide for my 17 x 9.5 z06s? What size slick can I fit if not? Looking for a bit more traction then a DR can give me. Im not really ready to fork out for full slicks and rims yet, but I will need new / better tires soon.
