gears and where to go ok heres my problem i have a 99 t/a with 2.73 gears im thinking of jumping to a 3.73 9i live in IL/nw IN i have no clue where to take my car to have it done or even a place to buy the gears could any one give me some info. i was also wondering if my hypertech pp3 is able to corect the speedo after the gears

hypertech will correct the gear swap. i went from a 2.73 to a 3.42 and made a big difference. some of the vendors on here sell gears for a reasonable price. as for taking it somewhere, i don't live in indiana, so i can't help you there. me personally i've tried to get someone to change a gear for me and they wouldn't touch it! just my experience.
