Default Goodyear GS-D3 Vs. BFG KDW Vs. BFG KD

Well I ordered my wheels this Saturday from Tomzwheels (excellent service btw, Thanks Tom) and was told that the rear 295/35/18's GS-D3's may not be available due to the strike at Goodyear. So, I may need to go with some different tires and I'm looking at either the BFG KDW's or KD's. Can anyone comment on these tires and which one you would go with. The vehicle is a weekend toy and not a DD so I'm leaning towards the KD's for that ultimate dry weather traction, etc etc. Please discuss.

I don't think KD's come in the sizes you want.

all around KDW------KD=excellent dry handling, if its not a daily driver no use spending money on an expensive tire(KD) when you can get all in one(KDW's)
