Where?? My 01 SS dynoed 306.3hp 327.9ft tq BONE Stock with a paper filter but im glad you like the sound of it
Anyway, IMHO Flowmaster is 100% pure garbage.. They are the performance exhaust co. but all these years still not a stainless exhaust.

I did better than that stock. flomaster sounds ok, but there are a lot better systems out there if you are spending the money.

just to give you an idea, i ran my car stock with flowmaster catback and did 13.6@105.... put on a loudmouth and ran 13.5@106. but, as was said before...the more mods you do to your car, the more the flowmaster will hurt you

i have a flow master and i ran a 13 sec. run with all my mods except the Lt's i will see what i can run this summer with the Lt's i think i just know how to drive lol I also love the sound of it and its even more aggressive with my kooks on now. Although i do plan on getting a new exhaust because as stated its not stainless and mine is rusting. i will be getting something stainless for shure.

considering the highest flowing catback exhausts (well...shy of the 4" mufflex) will only gain you about 15hp at best on a bolt on car....the flowmster will probably yield about 1/2 that.
now if you're talking on a 450hp car...the difference increases

Ok well thats fine but lets see here my time slip says 13.1 at 107.8 on the factory tire with just a lid and flowmaster catback on the stock goodyear 245's. So I guess if I had a slp cat back I what of been in the 12's right. Give me a break. My car didnt get slower when I put it on. I went from stock 13.8 at 104.5 TO 13.1 at 107.8 with "JUST" a lid and flowmaster. And I doubt that the lid made up 7 tenths of a second on its own. I dont feel like argueing with anyone here but I think you should by a cat back for the sound not the power gains. There all gonna get you 8-10 rwhp anyway.

About 3-5HP ...not more than that according to surveys...there is a survey that has been posted a few times, and its 5hp less than the best I think...as far as CROSS-FLOW mufflers go.

I put a flowmaster on my 02 and it would not even turn a tire. The same day I put stock back on it. Called Flowmaster and out of the horses mouth that the 80 series is for lb9 l98 and lt1 the muffler wil not gain power on a ls1 he did not say it would lose just said it had no increases.
