Default Timing tuner wire got melted.

My timing tuner wire got melted and I need a new one. Can I buy just the wiring? Will they sell just that?

Melted where? If there's enough wire on either side of the connector, just get the same guage wire from the hardware store and splice a replacement piece in. Then, find some wire loom to wrap it with so it doesn't happen again.

I fixed it once. I bought it from a member here and he did'nt tell me it was melted. So I fixed it when I put it on the first time. I put that loop plug thingy on there and it ran.
Now I did my new heads and cam, it would not start. So I un plugged the timing tuner wire from the crank and it ran.

I thought about fixing it again or just buying a new one. Will they sell just the wire?

Well, I think the people that make it are:

http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com/

If you have any chance of getting it repaired, you could call them. Or, you might try a local electronics shop to see if they'd fix it for a few $$$.

I will call them tomorrow. I think they are a vendor. I could also call thunder for that matter.

I did a search on that sight and they offer a up graded chip for these things. I wonder what that does?

Thanks man. I called Full Throttle and they are going to help me out. They are also going to test my timing tuner for any problems.

Beats buying a new one.
