Default Replacing Motor/Trans Mounts - Which Combo?

Stock motor mounts are shot so now I have a big cammed 408 that rocks like crazy. I'm definitely going to be replacing those so I figured I'd replace the tranny mount while I'm at it. I'd appreciate some first hand feedback with each of these Motor/Trans mount combo's as I'm having a hard time deciding which to go with. Also, which brand you are using (Prothane/Energy Suspension) would help as well.

I had to say Stock/Stock, just because solid was not an option....yet.

Solid motor mounts here and I love them. I could not even tell when I put them it. Well....very little. Other people did not notice.

Whatever you do make sure the trans and motor have the same type of mount or you may start breaking things ie trans housing BTW I have poly and they are great

I've got poly/poly. The motor mounts were a bitch to get in, but I am very pleased with them. Car feels more solid.

i went poly/poly with mine - prothane motor mounts and energy suspension tranny mount.
i read that the ES tranny mount was a little more forgiving with vibrations than the prothane.

I went poly/poly in my bird. I got them from Thunder Racing. The NVH increased a noticeable amount, but it was within daily driving standards. After a while I didn't even notice it, which is what most people will tell you. It was worth it, to have such a better and more solid drivetrain, it made a big difference in feel, postive feel.

I thought that poly trans mounts were to be used in conjunction with solid motor mounts?

If not, who makes a solid tranny mount? I don't ever recall seeing one anywhere.

I believe in having the motor mounts stronger, or equal, to the trans mount.

I would run solid motor mounts myself, but the polys work great for me, and I like being able to tilt the motor down for transmission removal. I have a poly trans mount, but I'm going to switch back to a stocker when I put on a tunnel mount torque arm, too much vibration. I can only imagine how much a solid trans mount would rock your nuts.

Maybe I'm tryin to rock my nuts. Ever think about that, Blur?? LOL. Sorry about the other thread though. My apologies, but it had to be done to get that ridiculous argument outta that guy's thread Moving on... it sounds like poly/poly is the most popular combo thus far. Of course, Orangeapeel had to make the one vote for solid/solid... I guess he just wanted to show how much of a macho man he was... "I pity the fool who feels vibration"

While I'm at it, I'm gonna replace all of my suspension bushings with solid ones as well. I'm also going to replace my shocks and springs with solid metal rods. I want to feel the road, unlike those sissy's out there that use shocks and springs

I personally use poly/poly on my ride...I wanted some flex in the system to making swapping clutches/transmissions easier, but I wanted to keep the engine and shifter as stable as possible.
