Default T4 Pte 88 Mm Turbo/"KIT"

This unit has zero miles on it since a rebuild from Precision. They completely went through it and everything is like new condition. It is a t4 version, comes with 2 compressor housings, one is chrome with a couple small imperfections, the other is a "horn-inlet"/"race-housing" that looks to be never used its just dirty. I am asking $1325 shipped out of it. I will post pics alittle later tonight.

I can accept paypal, money order, or credit card.

Thanks

Since I am changing things up it makes sence to list the "kit" whole:

-PTE 88MM turbo above
-6.0L Manifold turbo kit black coated with ceramic coated heat shields
-1.5-2.0'' "race"/short exhaust
-2.5'' y pipe painted with VHT high temp spray (can coat fairly cheap)
-Tial 44mm wastegate
-Tial 50mm bov
-Tube and Fin Phamspeed turbo kit Intercooler (has been installed to work on t-a/formula/camaro)
-strong 4-5 ply connectors and t bolt clamps
-aluminum intercooler piping polished
-will include stock maf(stock wiring will reach)
-made to work with 105mm tb and GMPP/elbow but can be changed for other set-ups easily
-includes iat sensor ( stock wiring will reach)
-includes Stainless works alternator brack(which works fine)
-flex a lite fans ?240?
- all the parts for the kit other then the turbo are used, they are not perfect, but not beat up or bad by any means

What kind of car it takes to work with the kit:

-depending on variables a stock cube up to 370 motor would be idea, a bigger ci motor can be used depending on details and goals

- YOU CANNOT RETAIN A STOCK A/C COMPRESSOR

-YOU CANNOT RETAIN STOCK FANS, ALTERNATE FANS ARE SUPPLIED

-The exhaust is short, slash cut, and it aims right at the ground. If you are worried about the car being quiet its not going to happen

How the kit has proformed:

-Here is a link to a thread that is all about the car........

https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/591898-408-stock-heads-88mm-turbo-24-psi-920-rwhp.html

The car was run about 15 passes and has been 5.73 at 125 mph in the 1/8 with a 1.39 60'. It hasnt has any full 1/4 passes. With a smaller motor I believe the car could have made a few more hp, but it is t4 and about as big as you can go in that platform.

There are pictures of the set-up here......

http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com/hotCars.php?car=70

This kit can be bolted on very easily and ready to race(depending on the supporting parts), I am asking $4500 shipped or best offer.

Everything is O.B.O., only willing to sell the turbo or turbo kit, not seperating past that unless I have a buyer for all.

Default True Street Turbo

There is a true street class locally that I am considering running. The rules for the turbocharger do not limit the wheel(s) mm, just a 4 inlet and 3 inch outlet on the compressor. I have already hurt a t4 pte 88 several times before the experts could tell me something wasnt right, as in I was pushing it too hard. The motor is a 408, and im trying to pick the turbo that will fit in the rules and make enough power to be competitive.

I know at this point the motor is big for the class and not ideal, but trying to find a turbo that will work.

Pte reccomended a 47-88 with a h cover, but I am worried about the exhaust side being restrictive.

I have Jose working on something also.

Any ideas?

This i know, but most turbos that you can squeeze a h cover onto have t4 exhaust.

How much boost was hurting the PT88? I do not want to run into the same problem.

Stock heads and valves at 24 psi. The turbo could work with a 408, I just pushed it too hard too often.

If it helps, as Anthony knows, these cars run 5.3s-5.5s
