Default Y-pipe installation questions (Jet hot)

Okay I got my Y-pipe in yesterday (Thanks Speed Eng!)

It is in four pieces, with 2 inserts and all the mounting hardware.

The 2 inserts are meant to connect the pipes together, and one last pipe slides into the rest of the assembly.

I have 2 3" band clamps, I assume I will use those attaching the Y-pipe to the headers. There are 4 U-bolts with 'C' clamps on them, am I supposed to use these to attach the rest of the pieces together? I mean, The U-bolts don't really look sufficient enough to hold them together by themselves. But what do I know.

I can take pictures later if any of this is confusing.

I hope I don't have to get any of this welded together, I was hoping to do the installation by myself.

I did my whole exhaust myself with no welds. I used lap band clamps like these no leaks.

Yeah I think I'm just gonna pick up 2-3 more of those band clamps, I'll be at a parts store tommorow anyways. Thanks.
