So in my little town of Lexington, NC there is a well known guy in town that is a very avid car collector. My girlfriend and her family are good friends with him and we have spoke before, but never really talked much. I recently heard about his latest project which was a 69' SS with a LS7 swap. Well, my girlfriend and her family arranged for me to come up to his house and hang out and see the car. Sure enough, in the large engine bay of the beautiful 69' sat a LS7. After talking for a while, he offered to take me for a ride...
WOW.... that thing was stout, really made my car feel slow after that! I know this is pointless with out pics, but I will try and get some when I get back up there, if he doesn't mind.
I just thought I would share...that and I am really board. Spending spring break at home sucks...

I was supposed to go over there today and take a ride in his porshe on his road coarse, but he is in Florida at a bike show. So hopefully on Thursday, but we will see. I do not want to seem pushy or anything so when ever he is available and ready. But lets just say I am looking forward to it!

Well, I never got a chance to get back down to his house or track. His wife was rather sick so he was taking care of her most of the week. However, I did get a call and he is working on some sort of modified car that they will be racing. I believe some sort of local short track racing. But he has two tickets, and one of them is for me! So we will see about that. I just hope I dont have to work that weekend. I will be sure to get pics then.
