Default 01 rearend in a 92???

Like the title says: can I put my '01 stock rear in my '92z28 without to much hassle? More importantly, can I fit my 315/35-zr17s in the wheel wells without tubbing??

It will fit I don't think it allows for more fender well room though.

So more than likely the factory size wheels would fit 17" x 9" but not the 11"? That is what I figured. Everything else is in the same position as far as I can remember: lca's, shocks and springs, panhard. Any more opinions?
It might be worth a minitub while I still have the interior out!

a search over at thirdgen.org should give you all the info. IIRC, its a common swap for folks who want to run 4th gen offset wheels. You will still need spacers up front though (I actually have a pair for sale).
