Default painting stockers, help?

Going to paint my stocker 16x8s so they wont look so fugly when I mount my et streets and hit the track lol. I bought some duplicolor gloss black wheel paint and some clear, but I needed some advice on what to do to prep these suckers. what grit sandpaper or scuff pad?

Just use a red scotchbrite pad. Anything else will probably leave scratches that the paint won't fill in.
