Default Reverse Split Cam for Turbo

At what point is a reverse split cam recommended for a turbo setup? Say a single front mount kit with a 236/230 .6xx"/.6xx" 114 +2 or +4. When would this pattern be recommended over a straight up grind, 236/236, or even a traditional split duration cam?

I was looking more for information about the duration splits rather than a specific cam.
