13 cash sounds good although if he wont lower the price, 15 is still good

64k miles?? no way,,,,whats it gonna be worth in a year with 75k? 100k in a few years??? u might as well take out 3k and burn it, cus car is only worth $12,500 if its mint!!!!! for $15k you should be able to find 2000 ws6 with about 30k miles.

Yea i figured 15 was a little too much......i was really looking to spend like 13,000 ...14,000 max but not with that many miles.....im just gettin frustrated because im particular in what i want and these cars are hard enough to find as it is .......(especially with people around me asking 20g's and above for 2000 or 2001's with 30 -40k on the clock)
If he wont budge i guess i'll just have to be more patient
Thanks for the help guys :drive:

Well its basically a toss up between the firehawk if i can get it for cheap enough......or an 2002 ws6 silver fully loaded as well with only 44,000miles.BUT.....it had minor water damage (carpets replaced) and needs a new 1st gear syncro.......but that one is at a dealer and i got him down to 14,000
i really would like the firehawk because its such a special vehicle but $$ is tight.....so i'll keep u guys posted
thanks for the help :drive:

Water damage isn't something I would even consider. Stay far away from it

WoW,,,,,,24k miles??? M6? blk? that thing is cherry,,,,,thats only a little over 3k miles a year!!!!! I would think alot better deal than a daily driver snow driven hawk, that will have to have everything replaced in the next couple years, and will have over 100k miles in a few years......is there any question?? damn.......offer him $14,500 cash,,paid on the spot, and if he says no,,let him sweat for a day or two,,then offer $15k final offer or your gonna by another one for the same price. There is NO SUBSTITUTE FOR LOW MILES,,,EVER.

Even with the Reverse problem though???.........he said it works but about half the time it will pop out of reverse?? even if i get it for 14.5 i cant afford to drop too much more if it needs a tranny or something?....any idea if this is common or an easy fix?

dont compromise bro. if u dont get what u want everytime you see one you will regret it. i got the same car listed by SOMHawk27 two years ago with 29k on it for 22. it was higher than i wanted but i got the exact car i wanted. i looked at cars for over a year before i bought mine. the only thing i didnt get my first choice on was color i wanted red but got black. i looked everyplace for mine, ebay, yahoo motors, all over the net and it was a 16 hour round trip to pick it up and well worth it. i noticed looking at firehawks alot of sellers wont budge much so do your homework on the cars and i had much better luck at dealerships than private sellers. to many private sellers think the car is worth way to much. good luck, take your time it will pay off in the ends.and SOMHAWK27 im jealous, SOM was my first choice but i gave up tryin to find one.your a lucky man
ps i would steer clear of anything driven in the snow and salt

15k for a 2000 Firehawk is a fairly good deal.
I was looking for a 99-01 WS.6 and I couldn't really find anything less than 12-13k. And I was looking for a car with 50k+ miles.
I would take 13.5 or 14 to the deal and if he won't budge I'd definately buy it. Atleast that's my $.02.

Wave 13-13.5, then leave your number if he says no.
You'll prob have him say come get it in a day, especially if he has a signifficant other, make sure she sees the money too!!!
