Default Y-pipe vibration?

I'm lookin at a 02 SS that has pacesetter LT's with their ORY. When you under acceleration, there is a little vibration and moan-like sound coming from under the drivers seat. I've heard y-pipes hit the bottom of the floor, but none that have sounded like this. Its kinda hard to explain, but I'm thinkin that its the y-pipe hitting? Anyone else have this problem?

It sounds like the Y is probably hitting something. I had that problem with my Mufflex ORY hooked to QTP's. Mufflex makes a stopper that clamps around the pipe with a snubber that hits the floor before the Y. What I did was take an old exhaust hanger with a rubber joint and welded it to the Y, like the mufflex clamp only cheaper. Alot of people have had success with changing the motor mounts to poly to stop the Y from hitting. If you wanted to check and make sure that it is the Y actually hitting the floor, you could temporarily wedge something non-flammable in the to see if it stops the noise.

its not really a rattle sound....it almost sounds like when a wheelbearing is going out, but not that loud...and from right underneath the drivers seat. maybe im just overreacting maybe??
