Fast 90mm Map Sensor Fix
So its agreed that the map sensor location and mounting(non-exsistant) on the fast manifold is crap. how did you fix yours? im about to take my manifold back off but i want to fix this problem once and for all. is it just suppose to seal and stay put with magic? WHAT GIVES? for those that havent seen it it's just a small size hole which is kind of close to the size of the gasket for the sensor and thats it, it kinda just floats there and you hope it seals.

i made a C clamp out of aluminum sheet metal. about 1" wide with a hole in the bottom side of it. just use a longer bolt in the center bolt and slide the C clamp on and put a nut on the bottom of it. the top holds the map sensor in the intake. pretty much idiot/fail/blow proof.

What about using the little bracket included with this kit from LPE:

I know, I know, its too expensive for just the 1 bracket, since we wont be using the rest of the kit on our LS1's, but I'd be curious to know if this bracket fits right, and if LPE would sell just the one part to us LS1 owners???

I tried RTVing mine, but it just got knocked loose.

that's some bs. I had my g/f go into our local dealership to order mine (I'm deployed) and they had no problems getting it on order. I just told her to tell them its the seal/gasket for the Map sensor. $4 plus some change.
