Default staying on topic in the classifieds section

After reading thru these last couple pages, of classifieds, it seems that there is alot of BS here and i think the moderators should step in and make some new rules about staying on topic (no criticizing the seller and/or his items, insults etc) or do not post anything at all. they should make a disclaimer or something for when you click the classifieds section and you must read and click on it if u agree and if you violate these rules, action can be taken against that person. Stickies are just not good enough. Who reads those ? not me and im sure many others do not as well. by doing so, you have proof that they at least looked at it or at the very least agree with the rules, because they clicked accept.

Example-

This area is strictly for members to buy and sell cars, parts, and other merchandise that they own.

No thread should be "bumped up" more than once during a 48 hour period. The only member that is entitled to bump the thread will be the member that posted the ad. All responses must be directly related to the item(s) being offered in the original post. If there is no apparent interest in an item within two weeks of the original post, no further "bumps" will be allowed.

DO NOT post in someone's ad to criticize pricing or item description. That should be kept to a private message. If you feel that a particular ad posted is intentionally misleading, please report the thread and explain your reasoning. This is done by clicking on the Report Post icon (the red triangle with an exclamation point) found underneath the person's username and avatar.
All items listed for sale must have an asking price included in the initial post.

This is not a place for eBay links to be left open. If you have an item you are selling on eBay and you would like to offer it locally, state that the item is also listed for local sale in your auction description and include the eBay link and asking price in the initial post.

thank you

We have. All moderators and Admin have time and time again but it doesn't sink in which is why it is a sticky. The 24 hour rule for ttt was brought in last year and working well, 48 hours...soon there will be call for one week.

We try the best we can but eventually there just isn't enough time to stop the bandwagoneers - and you can't have that forum like Sponsor Feedback where only the thread starter can post.

Nine Ball *may* have input on this if he has time but you have to consider this site has grown exponentially - I think there were about 20,000 members when I joined and now there are a quarter of that posting at any time of the day!

Good suggestions, not trying to rain on you but we have tried and will continue to do what we can until some major changes happen - or not - it is the call of Admin on that part.

Thank You for the suggestion,
