Default Clutch pedal gets soft...

Recently i have noticed when i row thru the gears my clutch pedal gets soft. It seems like its closer to the floor. It still shifts normal but just feels softer than usual.

Can you guys give me some opinions?

I have the ls6 clutch kit. It has about 9k on it.

Thanks.

How many miles on the car?? Mine started feeling soft after I replaced the clutch/slave cyl, and it turned out I had a blown master cylinder. Noobie mistake, not replacing them both i guess. I had the new clutch and slave for about 3k miles, the master had about 90k on it at the time. Just one thought.

I believe that problem is from the fluid if overheating. I would flush the master with new fluid. Should solve your problem.

How do i do that, Is there a right up somewhere?

Can this damage anything if i make it overheat too many times?

Thanks.

A soft clutch pedal at the top then firming up towards the floor means there's air in the system plain and simple. Try bleeding it.
