Default rod bolt question

i hear alot about ls1 rod bolts and people replacing them because they dont like high rpm, well which ones are yall getting to replace them? and are yall doing bearing while our in there? where you getting this stuff from?

Katech for LS1s but if you have the LT1 in your sig I have no idea.

dont mean to hijack,but it may apply to your question.How long does it take to change them out and how much can i expect to pay a shop to do this

4 to 5 hours labor from what I've heard so that multiplied by your shop's hourly rate.

5-6 hours seems like not enough time if the motors in the car...
but i asked about ls1...

i know replacing the oil pan gasket pays 4 hours. so expect to pay 5-6

Katechs are preferred cause they are suppose to be a direct swap.
