weird noise from engine

weird noise from engine i get this noise (like a cord loose or something) when i accelerate(hitting pedal about half way) on low speeds until like 60. any ideas what it could be? thanks.

Both hot and cold?
A cord loose - whirring, tapping, whining, ringing, etc. or something - not sure what a cord loose sounds like.
What kind of mods if any?
What has been done recently?
Did you run over anything, do anything unusual lately?
What are the details of the car?
Where do think the sound is coming from - frant rear etc.
Does the sound go with vehicle speed or engine speed?

yes both hott and cold, its like tapping noise i quess, no mods just slp air lid, nothing has been done recently its coming from the front like in the engine and it goes with vehicle speed

Are you sure it goes with vehicle speed, not engine speed?
If it goes with vehicle speed, look for something around the front wheels, see if it does it with brakes lightly applied, etc. Check the driveshaft for any paly, obstructions, etc.
If it goes with engine speed - the suggestions above are good ones.
