Installed LS6 Intake Yesterday
Everything went smooth. I found out the hard way that you need to remove the plastic clips from the knock-sensor wires...they kept the manifold from seating all the way on the heads.
I got in a hurry and wound up launching one of the clips into the intake port of the drivers side head. It fell into a port with the valve OPEN!
I was soooo lucky...I was able to turn the motor over with a wrench until the valve closed and then used a coat hanger to slide the plastic clip out. The instant I touched it, it fell onto the valve.
After that incident, everything went well and I didn't even break the oil pressure sending unit.

congrats, I recently installed a ls6 intake as well. Im glad you were able to get that plastic clip out of the head. I was able to keep the clips on, but I also hammered a little on the coolant lines to get them to sit lower. Good job on not breaking the oil pressure sending unit and enjoy the new extra power

I drove the car last night. It was a decent SOTP improvement int he top end. I can tell the PCM is still learning a little.
I also noticed the exhaust note was slightly deeper and more throaty at WOT.
Definitely worthwhile, especially since the cam is going in soon!
