Just painted my 01 z28 rims gunmetal im pretty pleased with the results.

It cost me about 25 bucks with 1 can of paint 2 cans of primer and 1 can of clear coat. And masking tape. Thanks for the complements I was goning to go black with the silver lip but i wanted to add some more color contrast to the car.

Thanks for the compliments i copied the idea from another memeber on the board with a pewter 01 z28 he gave me alot of advise. I was gonna do black but at night the gunmetal looks realy good when the light hits it with all of the metalic in the paint. I couldnt make up my mind my brother said black, mom and dad said gunmetal.

Looks good! It really does make the snowflakes look decent. Glad I could help. $25 and a day or so of work yeild great results. Bare minimum it makes the snowflakes decent enough to run and spend money on other mods.
