Z06 clutch kit?
Im making around 450rwhp, the z06 clutch kit is so cheap($368.75) that is with the flywheel. SDPC part# 12570806. Is there any reason i should spend more on a different clutch? Any experience with these parts? Anyone please help she is sitting motionless waiting to go to the shop

Not running quite as much Hp, but I've beat the crap out of mine since I put it in and it never has seemed to slip. I've launched it on MT ET Streets and it's held up fine. If it was me, I'd spend just a few more dollars and get the LS7 kit though. It's not much more and sounds great from what I've heard.

Thanks so much for the response, however the budget is tight and it is a $220 difference 582.50 for the ls7(kit and flywheel) z06 368.75(includes flywheel) if you say the clutch was good with the use you describe im all for the savings at this point

I'd go with the LS7 if possible. My car made 423/385 and the Z06 clutch isn't liking it to well. If you search this forum you'll find a company in PA selling the LS7 clutch kit (PP,clutch, flywheel) for around $400
