if it is the rear 02's don't worry about it. Get them tuned out. If it's the front 02's that is a problem. If it says bank 2 sensor 1 or bank 1 sensor 1 that means it is the front ones. Fix them ASAP. you will notice your gas mileage go down to like 14 mpg and your car will run like ****.

I had mine come on when I first got my car for the same codes, rear o2's. It turned out my MAF was dirty as **** and after I cleaned it, the light went off. I don't know how or why but it did.

I beleive it was po420 and po1153 that owned my gas mileage. Take it to autozone and they will scan it for free.

I've had both PO420 and PO430 before awhile back, I just got rid of PO300 and now I have PO1153...the gas mileage isn't that great for me either...I'm thinking the front O2's should be swapped on mine as well.

I have SLP Long Tubes and GMMG Catback and after about 6 months of codes popping up alot got O2 Sims at the back which got rid of the rear problems.

My air filter is a K & N but after 4 years and 100K + looks like crap, I'm thinking I'll just get a new one of those too. Plugs and wires are fairly new, have swapped plugs twice so far and have MSD wires.

I will post up what hapens after I replace the O2's.

Does anyone else get a P0171 or P0175?...Its a lean code that I pulled after I showed a low voltage to one of my O2s.

I think I had it before too...replace the offending O2(s)

As for me I am now code free after replacing the passenger side front O2, I took everyones suggestions and got the Bosch 13111 (Vette rear O2) and it is working great so far: no codes...and bonus it was on sale and cheaper than the Camaro stock o2 ! Saved $40 on it.

Question: When I went to the parts store they didn't have 2 in stock, so I got one and installed it and picked up the other one a day later, but I am not throwing codes anymore...should I replace the other old front one anyways ?? The car has 152,000 kms on it approx 100K in miles and has SLP long tubes.

I am throwing these codes: P0140, P0155, P0160

Front 02 sensors. giving me terrible gas milage with my cam. I need to replace them. Going to go with the bosch 13111 sensors, or maybe even OEM..

but get them changed

Yep ! Swapped it out last night...not enough seat time yet, but car feels like it might have a lot more ***** with both front O2's being new.

Yeah my car has pulled it a few times in bank 1 sensor 1, it only stays on about a day or two. I had wired my o2 extensions my self I think thats were the problem was. I ordered some from tsp and put new bosch sensors in and havent had a problem since, and my rears have been deleted since I got the ory.

i currently have the P0420 code. it comes and goes. i havent really seen a big drop in gas mileage, as i am still averaging 20mpg in the city. i plan to replace the upper bank 1 O2 sensor soon.

Well, its been about 6 weeks and things were running good, but now its back to code city

It seemed to happen when I went to the track and tried a short belt mod to eliminate the PS and also took off the A/C belt....on the way home I had to use the defrost as it started to rain and this set a code that said it could be High pressure detected in A/C or problem with O2. I put the A/C belt back on next day and thought everything would be good....its not.

Now I have been getting the 1133 and 1153 codes back as well I have seen the 171, 174, 131, 300 etc. It runs like crap and stinks so bad I want to put the top down and never stop at lights

After clearing them a bunch of times, it seems to have settled down to 2 codes now PO1133 and PO131...it seems like the front O2 has had it. My question is why would one of these O2's go bad so quickly ??

Maybe I should have gone with the OEM vs. the Bosch ??

TTT for this. Wondering if new O2 sensor commonly fixes the P0171 code? Bosch or OEM?
