Default knock sensors and mech overrev

2002 ls1/t56 240sx.
engine light its poping..
P0327 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Low Input (Bank I or Single Sensor)
P0332 Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low Input (Bank 2)
but it only does it after you run the car once, turn it off and then restart it. doesnt matter how long you drive it the first time (20 mins or 2 hours). and as soon as you restart it about a min later the light comes on. i was told that they are maybe working but are going out and triping the engine light. also heard that they are bad about letting moisture get under the rubber seal and triping a code. and that i should put some silicone around the seal. which im sure ill do.
so the question is..
1: has anyone else had problems with the rubber seals over the knock sensor?
2: i got new knock sensors and a new manifold gasket. is there anything else i need?
3: is changing them bad? does the manifold come off fairly easy without taking a ton of **** apart?

also, i have mech overreved the car twice (i know, learn how to drive) if you dont hear anything and the car seems to run fine, am i ok? or is there hidden damage maybe?
