Default gears recommendations

my gears blew on my 01 ws6,M6, since I am already going to replace them should I go with another size or keep the original. I would appreciate any recommendations. Car only has a MTI lid and I plan on putting pacesetters and cam in a couple of months. Which gears should I buy, ballpark price, and where can I buy them? Thanks

My friend put in 3.73 and ended up changing to 4.10. Dont make the same mistake and go with the 4.10.

With the 3.42's i would usually cruise around in 4th, now i cruise around in 5th so the engine is still at the same or lower RPM's, your city mpg's will not be hurt too bad. I would also suggest you consider saving up for a 12 bolt or 9" if you are still using that 10 bolt, when you get a new rear end you can choose your gears.
