SC 3800 reardriveconversion into 87 Shelby Charger
Yes i'm putting an L67 into a 87 Charger. Bolted to a T-5, and using a rear suspension from a late 80's all wheeldrive Pont 6000STE with a Thunderbird 8.8" ind. diff. Love the bodystyle but that frontdrive BS had to go. I'll try to pot some pics soon. Estimated weight 2500 lbs.

I do have one question that I hope someone knows the answer. The auto tranny flexplates are different between the Supercharged and n/a 3800. What do I have to do to the Camaro 3800 manual flywheel to make sure the balance is right? I don't want do teardown the engine just to have a machineshop rebalance, just tell me how much more or less the counterweight is from sc'd to n/a.

You might want to come over this way for that info:

Someone over there may know, if not figure out.

I'm getting closer, What do you think?
Hopefully I'll get it going by Power Tour, http://www.mnfbody.com/showthread.php?t=21354

Well, I didn't get it running for Power Tour or for Car Craft up here in St. Paul. I did get it to fire this evening. I have to call Howell EFI tomorrow to see what I need to override the VATS fuel enable circuit. So I am getting very close, I had a few items to redo so it took a while to figure it out. I had to redo the steering because my initial tie rod setup had alot of bumpsteer and it just wasn't gonna do.
