steps:
1.be prepared to PULL HARD!
2.sit on the ground
3.put both feet on the bumper (not on the grill in socks off course)
4.put your hands in the grill and get a firm grip
5.pull as hard as you can, trust me, a bunch of people have done it this way, and so have i
6. clean off and admire your clean new look and kick back a cold one

Yeah same as what Camaro Ryder said. I got the the point you are at on two different occasions and pussed out thinking I was gonna rip the whole front end off, lol. Finally tried it again and third time was the charm.

Work outside to inside from this point, start with the bottom then move to the top.

I went to yank mine off and it's a good thing I popped the sides out and looked behind it first. The bottom of the grill has rubbed a line of paint off and my fascia has been repainted and they did a shitty job. Good thing I didn't just rip the damn thing off!

Yeah, and after you rip it off get at long handled magnet to pull out the little metal clips that will be in behind there. Took me about 5 minutes to fish them out.

When I did mine the sides came off really easy but the center was not wanting to move. I ended up using a long shaft regular screwdriver and pulling the top of the grille out a bit and using the screwdriver to push on the clips and they popped out with little effort. I really didn't feel comfortable yanking on the front clip like some have suggested.

as someone else said, just make sure you put your hand up right near the clips as a brace

pull it off, as mentioned above. If you're too afraid to do it, the whole front bumper cover comes off easily in about 10 minutes, and then you can access both sides. This also makes installing another grille (SLP, billet, etc) easier.

Don't worry about the paint not matching. Paint the area flat black by yourself, and then put a billet grille over it. Looks really clean and it's not too expensive.
