Very nice but C'mon man, don't tease use with partial body shots, let's see the whole thing!

How did you fab up a gas tank?

I am just having a tank built with a cut out for a drop in-tank pump.

Updates????? We want to see what is done now! Considering a 61 X-Frame project (Buick), and would love to know what problems you ran into, and how everything worked out. How much fab work?

Well we're getting closer.

67rsss, you shouldn't have any problems. The only problem we encountered was which adapter plates to use. S&P offer 2 types. One sets the engine back 1" DON'T USE THOSE-USE THE STANDARD PLATES. You'll need the space for the vacum connection. Also, consider headers as the stock manifolds are really tight to the frame. We had no oil pan problems. Let me know what else you would like to know, and keep us posted on your build

BTW, think you can get the plates cheaper somewhere else, sorry don't know where, but another guy on ChevyTalk.com used them and they were only $35 instead of $90. Also shop aftermarket wiring harnesses, I paid only $650
