Pedal just lays on floor, whats going on???
One day it worked, the next it didn't, and hasn't yet. Clutch pedal goes to the floor, but doesn't come back up unless I put my foot under it and pull it up. Either way my Z won't go into any gear. There's no tension on the pedal what so ever. I have no idea what's going on. Please help???!!!!

Not the slave, but a hydraulic problem. Which of course could be the slave. For example, if you had **** tons of air in your system, it would do this as well. Check your fluid level, and condition first before you go pulling trannys. Then bleed the hell out of it, then look at the slave. Good luck.

Look for fluid between the trans and the bell housing. There is a little hole there. if fluid is coming out. Your slave cyl is leaking. If it is. Don't forget to do the drill mod when you replace the slave.

Give it 3 or 4 good bleed cycles. Be sure that resorvoir has fluid at all times and if you still have no pedal, I would put my money on your clutch master cylinder. I had this exact problem with my 98 and you have the same hydraulics as I did.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their input. Come to find out, it wasn't the slave cylinder, but a leak in the hydraulic system. I fixed the leak, replaced and bled the clutch system, and for the first time in 6 months the car moves perfectly in and out of gears. Again, thank you all for your help.
