Default Ebrake dash light

...is not functioning properlly. Any idea what caused this? Ebrake still works, and I wouldn't care, but now to pop the drunk I have to shut the damn car off, then push the button, then start it back up. I know the light works because when I first turn the car on and I'm greeted with the damn lite brite show on my dash, the "BRAKE" one is lit.

sounds like the sensor on the ebrake might have come off or got broken. depending on weather or not it needs a ground to turn the dash light on there may be an easy fix by just unplugging the sensor and grounding the wire.

You have to pull off the center console and inspect that e-brake switch. I'm 99% sure that your switch is not working properly. Once you see it, you'll understand.

I think it's loose... because now it's working, after idling a few minutes it will flicker... Exhaust hits the bottom of my car so that could probably be it. Thanks!
