Default BFG KDW Vs. KDW2's

I am awaiting a response from Tomzwheels if he will be able to get the goodyear GS-D3's for the rear tires in my size that are backordered. In the event my wheels get done and the tires won't be available, I'm looking at either the BFG KDW or KDW2's. Please post your preference and any advice on which tire is "better". I'm leaning towards the KDW2's right now but want to hear some thoughts.

I like my KDW2s although I haven't really get on the car yet w/ my previous addition of mods. I'll be at the track today to see how will these hold up against my last tires which is HANKOOK. BTW, I pulled 1.9 on hankooks.

i've been running kdw2s for about 1200 miles. haven't had any problems hooking on them, it's actually hard to chirp them. but my car is mostly stock. i got them because i really like the tread pattern too. they are a lot nosier than my stock goodyears but i really don't mind that.

The W2's are awsome for traction. They work great on the road coarse then straight to the dragstrip. Great all around tire. I had soem traction issure with the regualr KDW's but the W2's are great

original kdw's are much better than the II's. they provide much better grip and are much much quieter

Well I pulled 1.8 60' on these tires ONCE on the track... The rest were 2.1-2.3s with various launch techniques.

Just for an update I pulled 1.7 60ft at the track with the BFG KDWII's. The track was hooking really well and the tires worked flawlessly.

thanks for the info guys, I think I may go with the KDW2's because they seem to work well from the responses and they would look pretty badass. This is unless the GS-D3's become available.
