Default 570sx (s13) Swap Progress

So the engine is finally bolted into the car...just have to bolt up the tranny mount now, and start the wiring...

got the headers from HInson...man they look sweeeeet....

should be ready for the race season...

god looks nice. mount kit from hinson or custom? how are the welds on the headers?

Ill be following this thread closely.

Nice p1's as well. If you do any good write ups on wiring itd be greatly appreciated.

have you tried the headers in the car yet, i'm going to have to make some small notches to clear the frame rails, it could be that my setup sits lower though.... i'm doing an s13 with all custom mounts, but using hinson stuff too. check out silviav8.com for a growing s13/s14 ls1 (mainly) community!!! i've got a ton of picks of mine there too, dry sump baby! But yeah looks good man!

cant say about the s13 but on the s14 i didn't have no problems with hinson headers. but its very close to everything. VERY close. and the driver side header will not go on/off without unbolting the motor and pulling it to the pass side for more room. other then that. they work great. i had to shave a little off the steering U-joint too.

whoa those mounts look interesting, are they essentially solid to the frame?
those headers do look super good, cant wait to see how they fit.
what size wheels/tires do you run?
I love that style of fender flares on an s13.
your car looks like its gonna be a monster, awesome!

are those motor mounts oem corvette mounts? or made by hinson?
