it means your car will blow up, not really but sounds like a 02 sensor is going bad.

If you have LT's it's one of those normals wo a tune. If you're stock o2 is croaking.

Passengers side, front O2 sensor may be taking a dump. Clear the code and see if it returns, if it does return buy the Bosch 13111 rear vette O2 and slide it in there.

clear the code but dont worry about it if its a front o2 unless it starts acting bad....if it does its not going to hurt the car and you can change it no prob

Well he is correct that it won't actually hurt the car if its a front O2 sensor malfunction. What he failed to tell you is that if the front O2 goes bad it will dump fuel into the engine it to ensure it doesn't go lean. So basically you end up with 9 or 10 miles to the gallon and a rough as hell running engine.

If the code comes back after you clear it change the front O2 as soon as you can. Don't extend the wires by splicing them as there is usually a code thrown or it won't read properly because of something like the ohm resistance changes with extended wires and the dyno tune will then not read correctly. Just use extensions or buy the rear Vette O2's - Bosch 13111 and place them in the fwd bank they work very well......
