Default MD emissions control?

I got a question for you guys/gals that live in MD. What kind of emissions control does the state require? I am making the move from Orlando to Baltimore. To say the least, my ride would never pass the sniffer test. That's why I love FL!

What do you need to pass in MD? Anyone with the same set-up as me that can give me a helping hand in passing? Thanks!

Right now all we do is the plug in test for our OBD2 cars. As long as you aren't throwing any codes you will pass.

They check for cats with a mirror too - but your vette may sit low enough that they wouldn't bother trying

Where do you need to go to get this done? Are there more "friendly places" than others?

Tell me more about the plug in test. My car has been tuned. I wonder how this will effect the plug in test.

You need to go to a VEIP station and some stations don't really care. The plug in test is simple, they just use the plug under the dash and check for codes.

I wouldn’t worry about it. First of all as long as your car is properly tuned (no check engine light) you will pass the OBD2 plug in test. Second, since you have a Vette all you have to do is tell the person at the testing facility that your car is to low to drive over the roller they have in each lane. Rather than risk damaging your car they will give you a waver, so you don’t actually even have to have your car tested.
